My name is David Prilutsky. I am currently a sophomore at Princeton University. I grew up and have lived in New Jersey for my whole life. Despite popular opinion, I am a proud New Jerseyian and love the state. Beyond classwork, fencing takes up most of my time. My dad and older sister both fenced, so naturally, I started fencing when I was 8 years old. Now I fence for Princeton University. In my downtime, I love to cook, listen to music, hangout with friends, play with my dog, and spontaneously go on various adventures.
Most recently, I went on a roadtrip to Maine with some friends. On the drive up, we, unfortunately, popped one of our tires. Luckily, we met a very kind stranger who helped us install the spare on the side of the road. After overcoming a few obstacles, we made camp by Acadia National Park. With little camping experience in our group, setting up the tent was not easy, but we got it done! We did some really cool hikes like the Beehive trail, and found some amazing lakes to swim in. Notably, some of my best memories came from befriending locals and following their expertise. We were able to find some awesome experiences we probably would have missed out on without local guidance.
Now, I'm back on campus learning about Computers! Just like camping, I'm not very experienced when it comes to computers, but I'm excited to learn about computers in our world and how they work for the remainder of the term.
